The SUV 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan will soon appear in Europe, America, Asia, and Australia. This car was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 in March. This Sport Utility Vehicle VW Tiguan will be marketed starting in Germany in mid-June 2012. After that in other countries in August 2012.

This new Volkswagen Tiguan comes with a new look, especially changes in the front that includes the grille, the lines in the body and bonnet, and also a slightly body size. In addition, the VW Company also provides additional latest security features on the 2012 VW Tiguan such as fatigue detection, Dynamic Light Beam Assist and Lane Assist system, plus a new electronic differential lock XDS which has been introduced previously. VW Tiguan 2012 releases with three new 2000cc engine that more powerful and can reach 210 hp.

This car is offered in seven variants, four turbocharged petrol-engined variants with outputs ranging from 122hp to 210hp and the other three diesel engine that can generate power between 110hp to 170hp. The 2.000 cc-engined variant is claimed to have fuel efficiency, which is 44 miles per gallon, or about 18.53 kilometers per liter. VW claims it was because the use of BlueMotion technology. The technology consists of a start-stop device and recycler of power to recharge the battery (this technology is mounted on a hybrid variant).

The New  Tiguan previous generation equipped with 2,000 cc four-cylinder engine. This machine is capable producing power for up to 200 horsepower and 280 Newton Metres which are distributed to all four wheels. The Power is channeled to the wheels through the transmission of six-degrees-speed automatic gearbox with Dynamic Shift Programme (DSP) Tiptronic. VW is also complete with four appliances permanent motion all-wheel drive, which can change 4 Wheel-Drive permanently.

Until now, VW has not yet announced details of the specifications and the prices of SUV 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan.
